I’m excited to announce registrations for the UAA 2022 Congress in Sydney are now open!
In the development of our scientific program, we have endeavoured to remain true to our theme of “Asian Urology – Together Towards Tomorrow”. Our program encompasses traditional urological treatments and procedures, but also looks to the future with presentations demonstrating the state of the art with respect to the investigation and treatment of a broad range of urological conditions.
The Committee has assembled experts from around the world, including the 26 member nations of UAA including:
• Ashok Agarwal (US)
• Madhu Sudan Agrawal (IN)
• Chris Chapple (UK)
• Ralph Clayman (US)
• Jean de la Rosette (TR)
• James Eastham (US)
• Jiang Hui (CN)
• Teng Aik Ong (MY)
• Kristen Scarpato (US)
• Jeremy Teoh (HK)
• Bill Wong (HK)
• Shingo Yamamoto (JP)
• Stephen Yang (TW)
The plenary program and concurrent session topics can be viewed here.
Pre-conference workshops on Wednesday comprise topics such as ‘State of the Art Robotic Surgery’, ‘Clinical Challenges and Advances in Female Urology’, and ‘Asian crisis of antimicrobial resistance in urogenital infections’.
The success of a conference is not judged solely on the high quality of the scientific program. A social program where colleagues from throughout Asia and beyond mingle, develop collegiate relationships, and friendships that will last well beyond the week in October of 2022 is an essential component of our meeting. As such, we have arranged an opening ceremony that will highlight some aspects of Australian hospitality and, a conference dinner to which we hope you will come and sample the entertainment that Australia is renowned for.
We look forward to welcoming you to Sydney in October.
